Rod-Out System
  • Patented rod-out check valve allows rodding out without interrupting process flow
  • Back-seating head prevents possibility of rod-out stem blowout
  • Adjustable packing nut allows rodding out under pressure with minimum process spill
  • Metal-to-metal seat
  • Can be used on most manifolds and orifice valves with straight- through porting

THE RODDING OUT PROCESS
Using Conventional Methods Using D/A's Rod-Out System
  1. Go on manual control
  2. Block process
  3. Remove plug
  4. Spill process
  5. Insert tool
  6. Open valve
  7. Rod out
  8. Close valve
  9. Remove tool
  10. Spill more process
  11. Replace plug
  12. Open valve
  13. Return to automatic
  1. Remove plug
  2. Insert tool
  3. Rod Out
  4. Remove tool
  5. Replace plug
